The lith print is by high contrasts. Decisive factors for the hardly reproducible print are paper grade, degree of overexposure, type and mixing ratio of the lith developer, and the duration of the development time.
The concentrates Rollei LITH DEVELOPER A and B should be diluted with water in a ratio of 1 + 15 to 1 + 50. The contrast is controlled by exposure and development time, filtering of gradation change papers is not necessary, exposure with white light is possible.
The developing times depend on the amount of light and dilution. Times between four and twelve minutes are desirable.
Application | Dilution | Time (20°C/68°F) | Yield |

Normal Contrast | 1 + 9 | 2 min. | 1,8 m² |
High Contrast | 1 + 6 | 2 min. | 2 ½ m² |
Low Contrast | 1 + 12 | 2 – 3 min. | 1,4 m² |
Faster Development | 1 + 4 | 1 – 1 ½ min. | 3,6 m² |
